What thoughts come to mind when you see the phrase “build to last”? Do you immediately think of extra expense, or additional time? Maybe you think it involves over design or impracticality. With a little guidance, most folks can incorporate good design decisions in their project that create future options and lasting value.
Our association with architects and engineers has led to a greater appreciation of their trade. They are into the building science, not only the aesthetics. The good ones are keen to recognize good design, labor savings, life cycles, and of course green. Starting with a good design is essential to saving energy, time, and money.
We think that SSNGA has developed a product that exactly fits this mold. Starting with a smaller footprint (though not a tiny house) we have used light gauge steel framing, with all of its features, in the roof design, floor design and wall design. We have developed factory fabrication where appropriate and always provide detail-rich drawings under the review and guidance of structural engineer and their seal.
Finally, we have incorporated the Solus solar tile into our energy efficient system so that you can be truly energy independent.
We think build-to-last value should be everywhere. It should be in our cars, appliances, electronics, phones… everywhere, but certainly in our most expensive asset, our homes. We can provide solutions to create lasting value for you and your heirs.
