Ultrabond long span deck is a permanent steel form that eliminates the need for temporary forms. The Ultrabond method uses steel rebar and wire mesh to create a monolithic concrete floor system of incredible strength. An average concrete pour of 4”, in conjunction with the galvanized steel pan creates the system.
Long spans up to 28Ft can be achieved with the steel deck/concrete floor system. TheUltrabond deck acts compositely with the concrete to provide positive reinforcing for the slab.
Diaphragm action of the Ultrabond long span deck slab braces the walls; therefore, the use of tie beams is not required.
Easy to handle and install, it can be supplied pre-cut or can be quickly cut on site to fit challenging floor plans.
The system is engineered to job specific requirements by a registered structural engineer. Temporary shoring and bracing drawings are also provided.
The finished concrete floor is available for concrete polishing or staining with a wide range of scoring and detailing options.
A final feature of the phenomenally strong and decorative floor system is the use of solar tubing embedded in the concrete. This tubing will supply radiant floor heating and cooling when used in conjunction with solar arrays and water resources.
Clean, strong and beautiful, the Ultrabond floor system is a superb choice. When combined with the Superior Wall System, also provided by SSNGA, the resulting foundation/wall system is unparalleled.
